Cocoa Absolute: Single note chocolate layering note

Wet: This is almost slightly peanut butter-y, it has a bit of a nutty quality to the cocoa.

Dried down:
To me, this is definitely the smell of slightly nutty, dry cocoa powder on the topping of a hot chocolate.

Perfect for: Those who enjoy cocoa notes in their scents - use this on its own or layer it! It's perfect either way.

Lavender Vanilla: Lavender Essential Oil & Sweet Creamy Vanilla

Wet: A perfect balance of lavender essential oil, which leans very syrupy, and Solstice's typical vanilla fragrance.

Dried down: Unlike the vanilla note from Estate Vanilla, this reminds me more of their french vanilla, which is less vanilla extract, and more of a creamy sweetness - very reminiscent of the vanilla from Blackburn's Parlor and most of their gourmands. The lavender fades a little quickly, but it's very much a delicious vanilla cake with a drizzle of lavender syrup.

Perfect for: Anyone who loves a simple and sweet blend (or if you liked Lavender Raspberry Truffle but prefer vanilla, this is very similar.)

Lavender Raspberry Truffle : White Chocolate, French Lavender, Bulgarian Lavender, Tonka, Cocoa Absolute, Raspberry

Wet: Opening with a huge blast of lavender essential oil and a double whammy of cocoa absolute.

Dried down: The lavender is slowly tamed down, and the cocoa absolute mellows out to a faint, dried down dusty chocolate powder that leans a little more like dark chocolate, rather than white. While the tonka remains as a faint, sweet whisper of vanilla, the raspberry is completely overshadowed by the cocoa and lavender.
To me, this was a very faint scent in comparison to most of Solstice's fragrances, the sillage is very weak and has lower projection than most scents.
While I appreciate Solstice's chocolate notes, most of them use cocoa absolute as a base and I know that this isn't a note that works for everyone - and personally I'm in love with their vanilla but only on the rare occasion will reach for the chocolate notes.

Perfect for: The chocolate powder counterpart to Lavender Vanilla - if you'd enjoy a spin on the traditional cocoa absolute scent, you'll love this.
