Beaches and Bonfire: White amber, Warm sand, Orange blossom, Smooth citrus, Ocean spray, Tahitian vanilla, Smoky embers

Wet: Soap, what fancy toilets smell like with their tropical retreat diffusers, with resinous amber.

Dried down: To anything that goes from "beach" to "sand" at a supermarket's scent aisle, or a nice day out at Bath and Body Works. The orange blossom is a light, mild floral and the citrus, vaguely indistinct but mostly tart and a little sweet are paired together with a mellow amber (much less resinous than golden amber). It's complimented with a slight burst of aquatic, like the cool spray of the ocean splashing into your face, but the bonfire is mostly missing in this scent on my skin.
This reminds me a lot of "spa" scents, it's clean in the way that you've smelt a hundred times at a spa retreat, pots of homey scents in a room with dimmed lights and fluffy towels, going out to sunbathe on a beach, running your fingers through the soft, sun warmed sand, drinking a fruity pick me up looking out at the blue sea.

Perfect for: A spa retreat, or anyone who loves the scent of "beaches and sand" diffusers from the supermarket.

Elizabeth : English Rose, Wild Rose, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, White Tea, Sandalwood, Floral musk.

Wet: Rose, strung up on a wreath with honeysuckle. It's floral and feminine, romantic and demure, much like Gion (Fantome) with its powdery textures, and candied rose, except the English rose pulls more of the green, garden rose, soft fragrant grass and crushed leaves.

Dried down: This is a delicate, clean and crisp profile, and the softness of powdery rose, without straying too far from its opening. On my skin, this reads incredibly similar to Gion (Fantome), and stays green, with peeled rose stems, and green English roses. The honeysuckle and jasmine is a graceful addition to the scent, careful not to tip the scent into indolic territory, just giving a bit of lightness and depth of color to the rose. With the addition of sandalwood, this scent has an elegant, gossamer thin base of wood and aromatic creaminess. The floral musk is (blessedly) not overwhelming, like a fleeting brush of hands and rose tinted cheeks.

Perfect for: Pride and Prejudice lovers. Or if you're looking for a good, well rounded floral with a bit of heart.

Bitchin : Burnt sugar, Dulce Caramelo, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Kohl, Suede.

Wet: It's deliciously sweet, all sticky, viscous strands of caramel, blocks of melting chocolate with a hint of something smokey.

Dried down: Between the bubbling sugar, and the ribbons of rich caramel and crispy, burnt sugar, there's a plate of baked cookies, sitting crispy on the outside, warm on the inside, broken apart for all the little warm spots of chocolate to melt. Topped with the most indulgent suede note, it's a sort of muffled, sensuous, smokey and soft note that smells the way suede couches feel.
Think about lying on a rich, wine colored suede couch, running your hands up and down that strangely addictive texture as it changes from light to dark underneath your hands, and then kicking back with a delicious plate of warm chocolate chip cookies, a cup of cold milk, and guilty sneaking a whole spoonful of rich, warm caramel into your mouth just to top it off. It's opulence and extravaganza on a Saturday night, and arguably, way too indulgent for a night in on Netflix.

Perfect for: Gourmand fans - except this one comes with a little more of that lush, suede texture and smokey kohl to spice up a tried and true cookie recipe.
