Juliette Has a Gun: Miami Shake Review
Miami Shake: With its deliciously gourmand, fruity scent of wild strawberries resting on a bed of voluptuous creamy notes and irresistible vanilla, delicately uplifted by a soft floral touch of orange blossom, Miami Shake is the ultimate scented treat to indulge in — joyful, addictive, and perfect for any moment in need of a lift.
Top notes: Wild strawberry
Heart notes: Ice cream accord, Whipped cream note
Base notes: Vanilla, Creamy musk
To be honest, I've never really enjoyed any JHAG perfumes, and this one isn't doing very much to change my mind. Eager and interested in the promise of creamy strawberry ice cream, this one was nothing much but an opening of indistinct fruity sweetness, before immediately fading down into a musky sugary sweetness. While I do appreciate that the sweetness in this isn't very cloying or dark, it has a lovely brightness from the touch of fruit, but the white floral qualities in this one are a little sharper than I'd expect. For me, this scent is a very indistinct and linear type of sweet, and it's also quite faint. I couldn't really pick much up after dry down, and at the price point, I'm not sure it's worth checking out. I feel middling on this one at best, but I suppose forgettable is better than being a scrubber.
