Sucreabeille: Death Unicorn, Smoke and Decay and Albemic

Death Unicorn - fresh cut lavender, black anise, sweet vanilla bean, black pepper crushed under a unicorn’s horn.

Wet: Even from the vial, this scent screams adventure, but in the way where you're trapped in a tunnel with a rolling boulder. Pre-resting, it's a blast of deceptively smooth sweetened herbal, essential lavender, but the longer you rest it for, the more the scent turns feisty, giving you a roundhouse kick of pepper that clears your nose.

Dried down: The brightness of the lavender goes hand in hand with the black pepper, and unlike the soft spice of pink peppercorn, this is unapologetically spicy, burning all the way from my nose and hits the back of my throat. It impressively enough, actually makes me feel like I've put my head into a barrel of cracked black pepper. After fifteen minutes, the lavender fades, its light, soothing top notes give way to a rich star anise, with its bright, fennel-like quality, bringing to mind images of twisted ropes of black liquorice, sprinkled with black pepper. For the rest of the wear, liquorice is the strongest note, with its signature blend of a little sweet, astringent and sharp profile, boosting a slow, dying spark of pepper spice.

When I wear this scent, I'm kindly reminded of Charlie the Unicorn (with its Grand Finale coming soon too), a deceptively fun and whimsical scent with its soft and comforting notes of sweet, and alluring lavender, stumbling into a off kilter adventure of liopleurodons, and being serenaded by floating letters, until you're trapped on candy mountain with a burst of gunpowder, and - to reasons you still can't figure out - missing a kidney.

Perfect for: Anyone who loves a loud and daring scent, a burst of spice and the unique sweetness of star anise dominant scents.

Smoke and Decay: warm snickerdoodle cookies dipped in buttercream frosting, campfire wood smoke, crisp red apple, Indian sandalwood, a freshly poured oatmeal stout, orange spiced chai tea.

Wet: A delicious, shiny poisoned red apple, with the faintest ever touch of wheat and a lick of citrus. The apple has a tinge of green, and reminds me a little bit of Watson (Poesie) and Poisoned Apple (BPAL), hiding something a little bit devious underneath its glistening surface.

Dried down: Slices of Red Delicious apples are crunched away first, and give way to a boozy, delicious stout with all its beautiful wheat aromas, like all the best things from Papa's Waffles (Sucreabeille) paired with an indulgent bread and butter pudding note, which reminds me a lot of Malarkey (Nui Cobalt Designs). It's a match of smooth, rich buttery vanilla, warm and fragrant custard, with soft slices of bread with the touch of chai spices.
I don't register much of a woodsmoke scent, or sandalwood, but it's most likely because I tend to amp sweetness in blends, so your milage may vary with this scent!
But what can I say? I'm a sucker for bread and butter pudding. Smoke and Decay is divine, with its ribbons of cream smattered with vanilla pod seeds and a sprinkle of chai and cinnamon, sweet and buttery slices of fragrant baked bread, finished off with a few slices of crisp apple, and a touch of orange zest. It's a straight gourmand, delicious and indulgent and rich and I can't stop huffing it.

Perfect for: Fans of gourmands - this is a soft and sweet treat for lovers of a good pudding scent.

Albemic: Sweet pumpkin souffle dotted with marshmallows and drizzled with buttery maple syrup. Tuberose wafts through the open front door.

Wet: A whiff of something that reminds me of a petrol station, it's pitch black, slick, a touch of gasoline. There's a touch of something smoky, and a little bit tannic - Imagine Celty from Durarara on a motorcycle, hands on hips waiting for the tank to fill out while there's something vaguely unearthly lurks underneath a petrol stained leather jacket and Doc Martens... perhaps a headless, smoking head. Aspects of this also remind me of Trashcan Man (Hexennacht) but it's a little more atmospheric.

Dried down: Oddly enough, when I blind tested this, I almost did a double take because I initially thought that I had accidentally picked up Smoke and Decay instead.
This scent remains the same as it's opening, but the pitch note mellows out a little, giving way to something else - like the scent of a freshly ignited charcoal barbeque, burning flecks of amber, a mound of lit coal, the bright white glare of a gas station at 2 in the morning, the faint tinge of bleach white firelighters, it's a Friday night with your mates in the darkness of their garage party, the stretch of sky and blinding outdoor lights, spilled beer and a few too many cuss words because you just couldn't get the fire going.
The overall profile is interestingly enough, nothing like the scent description and I ended up cross referencing my experience with this review from u/clawsight, but got even less of the original notes than they did. I don't register gourmand with this scent at all, it's an evocative, atmospheric scent that I'd describe as : motor oil, gasoline, a smoking motorcycle with a leather jacket slung over the back seat, a burning batch of charcoal on an open barbeque and something about it that makes you think twice about looking too closely at that motorcycle.

Perfect for: Anyone who loves the idea of being a rugged, sexy motorcyclist from an urban myth, streaks of motor oil and plenty of leather jackets, an engine roaring in the distance and a questionable glimmer of fire of a burning building.
